POSITION WISE ANALYSIS OF SPORTS ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION AMONG FOOTBALL PLAYERS

The study's goal was to look into football players' motivation for sports performance, with a focus on playing positions. Christ University, Bangalore women football players were chosen. A total of eight teams competed in this competition. In each of those Eight teams, 60 players from Elimination round (25 forwards, 25 midfielders, and 10 defenders) and 60 Semifinal Qualifying round players (25 forwards, 25 midfielders, and 10 defenders) were chosen at random as subjects. The motivation for athletic achievement was measured using a weighing machine. Descriptive statistics and factorial ANOVA are two statistical techniques used. Experienced players showed lesser sports achievement motivations when compared to novice players.
